This disc is designed to be used without a guard. It has a radius edge around the whole disc to protect the soft tissue.The disc has a recessed back side to make the head more low profile and help fit into the tight spots in the back of the mouth.The cutting surface is 1 1/4″ in diameter.Will not fit inside any of our disc guards.1/4-28 threaded shank.
