When a fire starts, the Visit Smoke Alarm provides early detection of smoke and fires. The transmitter’s sensors cover an area of 165 feet. This smoke detector signals a loud>85 decibel alarm, and when paired with a compatible receiver, such as theVibrating Alarm Clock, it will alert with bright flashes, sounds, or vibrations. It features a “toast” silent button to temporarily disable the alarm when cooking. Place it in the kitchen, bedrooms, and other living areas to increase safety in a home or office.
