The Certified Digital Thermometer shows the current temperature and has a minimum/maximum feature that monitors critical temperature for any period of time, such as overnight or weekend, until it is reset. The probe is housed in an unbreakable glass bottle filled with a buffering media, sand, which maintains the thermometer reading when the instrument door is opened. The thermometer and the bottle housing the probe have dual magnets allowing attachment to metal surfaces.
