How to use Donjoy Impact Guard Protector?
- Remove medial and lateral condyle pads from a brace
- For standard hinges: Slide Impact Guard over the plastic condyle shell (from the back of the knee brace toward the front) where the condyle pad was removed
- For LoPro Fourcepoint hinges: Place washers and screws on the soft side of the inner flap. The screw should go through the soft-side first and the plastic piece second. Be sure to align the holes from the flap onto the threaded holes of the hinge. Then screw in the screws to the threaded holes
- Wrap the outer flap around the outside of the hinge and secure it to the inner flap
- If necessary, reapply both condyle pads using double sided hook patch to secure condyle pads to the Impact Guard
- To secure the shin guard to the leg, place the included hook & loop tab on guard and attach the elastic strap. The impact guard completely assembled
Cleaning Instructions of Donjoy Impact Guard
- Hand wash in cold water using mild soap
- Rinse thoroughly
- Air dry
