Hypafix gentle touch Tape is an atraumatic adhesive tape designed to be extra gentle to vulnerable skin while keeping dressings, instruments, and medical devices in place. Its silicone fixation is ideal for skin injury prevention and infection for elderly individuals prone to skin tears, infants with disease-related fragile skin, or patients taking medications that put their skin at higher risk of damage upon removal. Hypafix Gentle Touch with soft silicone adhesion maintains skin integrity and reduces pain and skin trauma upon removal. The water-repellent material is nonwoven and breathable to maintain skin health by reducing moisture buildup that causes skin maceration. Due to its pliable silicone, the tape is cut to size and shape and is highly flexible to make application easy, especially around body contours and joints that can be hard to dress. The flexibility and breathability provide comfortable wear-time for up to seven days.
