LIFE StartSystem is an emergency oxygen in a portable wall case. Emergency Oxygen may be deployed as much as 50 times more often than an AED! The StartSystem is made to accommodate a Philips OnSite AED or a Philips FRx AED which are sold separately. This emergency kit is smaller than a standard briefcase and weighs only 8 pounds. This durable emergency AED and oxygen kit is water resistant. A LIFE CPR mask with a one-way valve comes with the kit. This mask offers a universal fit for both adults and children. The emergency oxygen part of the kit offers a 15+ plus minute supply of oxygen. The LIFE StartSystem provides supplemental emergency oxygen to a breathing victim before the onset of fibrillation or after successful defibrillation. FDA Regulation requires a minimum capability of 6 LPM flow rate. LIFE 612 models deliver both the minimum of 6 LPM and the AHA recommended 100% inspired oxygen at 12 LPM, in just two simple settings which read “NORM” & “HIGH”. The kit comes with a 113 liter aluminum cylinder, which is disposable and replaceable or refillable by a local medical oxygen supplier.
