A safer stain means a safer lab. Masson’s 2000 Trichrome Stain Kit does not contain picric acid or formaldehyde yet still yields quality and intense results. Procedure times are a bit longer (3 hours for traditional; 15 min for microwave) but you can put your mind at ease knowing your safety isn’t compromised.
