How to use McKesson Cast and Bandage Protector?
- First, ensure that the protector is the correct size for your arm. It should fit snugly but not be too tight, and the rubber diaphragm should seal securely around the arm.
- To put on the protector, gently slide your arm into the sleeve and position the rubber diaphragm over the cast or bandage.
- Smooth out any wrinkles or air pockets in the protector to ensure a snug fit and optimal waterproofing.
- If necessary, adjust the position of the rubber diaphragm to ensure a tight seal around the cast or bandage.
- Once the protector is in place, you can safely bathe or shower without getting the cast or bandage wet.
- When you are finished bathing or showering, carefully remove the protector by sliding your arm out of the sleeve.
- Rinse the protector with clean water and allow it to air dry completely before storing it for future use.
