How to Use Medline Digital Thermometer?
- Choose the preferred measuring method
- During a measurement, the current temperature is displayed continuously
- The °C or °F symbol flashes during this period
- If the signaling tone sounds (beep-beep-beep 10 times) and the ° C or ° F is no longer flashing, this means that the thermometer is ready for reading
- To prolong the life of the battery, turn it off after use by pressing the operating button briefly. Otherwise, the thermometer will automatically turn off in about 10 minutes
Safety Instructions:
- Suitable exclusively for measuring body temperature
- The minimum measurement time is required; there are no exceptions
- Therefore, do not remove the thermometer until the signaling tone [beep] sounds
- Contains small parts (battery, etc.) that children can swallow. Never leave children unattended around the thermometer
- Protect the thermometer from hitting and striking
- Avoid ambient temperatures above 60 °C /140 °F
- Never boil the thermometer
- Clean the thermometer by wiping it with a dry cloth and sterilize the probe with isopropyl alcohol at 70%
- Don’t let the thermometer contact any chemical thinner. Not completely waterproof
- Do not soak the LCD in water; only the probe is waterproof
- Do not use the device if you think it is damaged or if anything appears unusual
- Do not store this thermometer in direct sunlight or extreme temperature or humidity conditions
- Do not use this thermometer in the immediate vicinity of devices with strong electromagnetic fields
- Batteries and electronic instruments must be disposed of in accordance with locally applicable regulations and not with domestic waste
