How to use Biogel Surgical Gloves?
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before putting on the gloves. Dry your hands completely
- Open the glove package carefully, making sure not to touch the gloves or the inside of the package
- Grasp the cuff of one glove and pull it onto your dominant hand. Be sure to pull the glove over your fingers and all the way up to your wrist. The Biogel coating should be facing outwards
- Use your gloved hand to grasp the cuff of the second glove, making sure not to touch any surfaces with the ungloved hand
- Pull the second glove onto your non-dominant hand, making sure it fits snugly and comfortably
- Adjust the gloves as needed to ensure a comfortable fit and good range of motion. Be sure the cuffs are snug and secure around your wrists to prevent roll-down
- Perform the surgical procedure as needed
- After the procedure is complete, remove the gloves carefully to avoid contamination. Grasp the outside of the glove cuff near the wrist and peel downwards. Remove the second glove by using your ungloved hand to grasp the first glove at the wrist and peel downwards. Do not touch the outside of the gloves with your bare hands
- Dispose of the gloves in a proper waste container and wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.

Gloves & outer wrap dispose of as clinical waste. Paper inner wrap, collation case & transit case can be recycled as paper or disposed of as clinical waste according to local regulations - Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place away from sources of heat or direct sunlight.
Warnings
- Do not use single gloves for protection against Carmustine (3.3 mg/ml) and Thiotepa (10 mg/ml)
- Consider using additional safety controls when handling these materials to avoid contact as well as the use of multiple gloves with longer breakthrough detection times.
