- The DynaPro Resting Hand features a heated moldable thermoplastic insert that can be heat molded approximately 15 to 30 degrees ahead of the comfortable end-range stretch of the wrist (i.e., if the wrist improves from 45 degrees to 30 degrees, the inserts can be molded to 15 degrees to neutral the flex therapy)
- The finger pan can be heat molded to maintain the fingers in optimal extension. When applied, the flexible insert will allow flexion into the wrist contracture by using a therapeutic, inhibiting stretch on the shortened tissue at the wrist
- The heat-molded insert applies gentle tension, providing abnormal reflex arc therapy to reduce irregular tone and lengthen shortened tissue
- The increased wear time from about three to six hours per use, the Total End Range Time (TERT) of the splint, provides long effects stretch and permanent increases in joint range of motion over time
- The DynaPro Resting Hand Thumb Ease pads are covered with removable laminated foam/cloth cover that can be laundered to maintain hygiene and ensure safe, longer use

How to care for your OCSI DynaPro Resting Hand
- Before cleaning, always remove the softcover from the frame
- Close the soft cover’s hook and loop fasteners and place them inside the laundry bag
- Wash by hand or machine using a moderate cycle and a mild detergent. Do not use hot water, fabric softener, bleach, or hot water while washing the splint
- Air dry the resting hand splint completely
Contradiction and Warnings using DynaPro Resting WHFO
- If the DynaPro Resting WHFO makes contact with an open wound in any way, then the splint should not be used
- Do not use DynaPro Resting WFHO if the wrist, hand, or fingers have grade three plus edema
- The Resting Hand Splint should be fitted by a trained proffesional to ensure proper fit and avoid any additional pressure application on any of the contact points
- There should be a break between the wearing time of the wrist orthotic, starting with 1hr of wearing time and then one and half hours of addition to wearing time eventually
- The WFHO should be removed for 2 hours after continuous wearing for 6 hours
- Check for skin redness from pressure. If the skin redness persists even after 1 hour of removing the device, consult with a certified health professional
