Rebound Post-Op Knee Braces Fitting Instructions

1. Apply the anti-migration strap. Cut to size along the groove if necessary.
2. Position brace paddles on the leg by aligning the hinge center to the knee center.
3. To adjust the length of hinge arms:
   • Push down on the length adjustment button to unlock the paddle.
   • Slide the paddle to the desired length. 
   • Repeat adjustment for all paddles.
   • Ensure all length adjustment buttons are in the locked position.
   • Important: The practitioner should adjust the brace length to provide optimal knee stabilization. The upper hinge arms should extend no higher than 5 cm from the groin level, and the lower hinge arms should extend no lower than the calf/Achilles tendon junction. 
4. Fastening Straps 
   • Secure buckles
   • Tighten strap
   • Straps may be trimmed if necessary
5. To adjust range-of-motion, pull the flexion or extension button, move to the desired angle printed on the hinge, and release
6. Place ROM stop locks over flexion and extension stops to limit the range of motion adjustment

Drop-Lock Instructions of Ossur Cool Knee Brace

To prevent the range of motion, lock the device by sliding the drop-lock toward the center of the hinge after positioning the hinge at the appropriate angle.

How to wash Ossur Rebound Post-Op Cool Knee Brace?

• Do not machine-wash, tumble dry, iron, bleach, or wash with fabric softener
• Use mild detergent and cold water (30°C/86°F)
• Hand-wash using mild detergent and rinse thoroughly
• Air dry; do not expose to direct heat
• Avoid contact with salt water or chlorinated water. In case of contact, rinse with fresh water and air-dry
