Cleo 90 Infusion Sets, formerly by Smith’s Medical, is a single-use disposable infusion set that goes underneath the skin.
The Cleo 90 Infusion Set is offered in two cannula sizes and tube lengths to be used for infusion therapies, including insulin.
This type of infusion set makes insertions both quick and convenient to do in private. This makes it easy for patients to perform infusion therapy at home. To make insertion therapy easier, the Cleo is designed for one-handed insertion and the Luer connection will connect to a pump with a luer fitting.
The Cleo set has a canister (included) that houses both the needle retractor and inserter, along with a cannula so the user never comes in contact with the needle. Having everything in one convenient holder minimizes the reduce the risk of accidental needle stick injuries.
