Vive Post Op Shoe Overview
The Vive Post Op Shoe is designed to offer optimal protection for the toes, foot, and ankle following an injury or surgery. It uses a wide sole and adjustable straps that keep casts, bandages, and braces secure, comfortable, and dry. The adjustable straps provide a customizable fit, making the shoe ideal for small or wide feet. The rigid rocker sole provides firm support and pressure relief to the forefoot and heel. On the bottom of the sole is a nonskid tread that offers additional stability and traction so users can safely walk without slipping or sliding. This post-op shoe can be worn by both men and women and features a universal fit that makes it suitable for the left or right foot.
The shoe is available in three variations to suit different post-op needs:
- Vive Rocker Sole Post Op Shoe (SUP1036). The rocker sole style takes the pressure off the heel and forefoot to relieve pain and provides firm support to the arch.
- Vive Offloading Post Op Shoe (RHB2012). The angled wedge design places the weight on the heel to take pressure off the toe and forefoot. Offloading pressure from the front of the foot makes this style ideal for recovery from bunionectomy as well as hammertoe and mallet toe correction.
- Vive Heel Wedge Post Op Shoe (RHB2011). This design shifts body weight to the forefoot and midfoot, helping to relieve pain while walking after surgery or injury affecting the heel.
